Complete Medical Colleges projects in Time: CM

Shimla January, 13

Jai Ram Thakur Chief Minister said that all Medical Colleges Projects in the State be completed within the stipulated. He said that they must ensure quality of construction of these projects.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said while reviewing the progress of construction of medical colleges in the State, on January 13.

CM said that executing agencies ensure time bound completion of these projects to avoid delay as it results in cost escalation. He directed officers of the State Government to remove all the hindrances on priority. CM said that an effective mechanism be evolved to monitor progress in these projects by using information technology.

Thakur said that early completion of all these medical colleges, the health facilities in the state would get a boost in the State. CM said that State has six medical colleges in government sector, one in private sector and AIIMS would come up at Bilaspur.
