Drugs seized in bulk at Nadaun Hamirpur

Himachal police arrested a drug smuggler at Nadaun in Hamirpur District. Som Dutt is a owner of a medical store and belongs to the vill sher in the Rakker Tehshil of kangra district. Around 21800 tablets of Tramadol along with 2100 capsules and 800 Tablets of Alprazolam l recovered from him.

Government of India has already banned these medicine on the recommendation of narcotics central Beauro. The estimated value of these drugs is rupees five lacs approximately.

 A case is registered against him under NDPS act said Kartikeyan gokul chandran superintendent of police district Hamirpur. Som dutt’s property will also be seized after the financial enquiry he added.
