While Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched nationwide covid-19 vaccination drive in Delhi,

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur started the campaign in the state from IGMC here.
He said that in the first phase of Covid-19 vaccination 93000 doses would be administered to frontline warriors. These would include health care workers of the State.
CM said that about 74500 health workers would be vaccinated and each beneficiary would be provided two doses after a gap of 28 days.
Thakur said that the government had constituted State Level Steering Committee, State Task Force, District Task Force and Block Task Force to for effectively administration of vaccination of Covid-19.
He said that a vaccination store had been set up at Shimla while Regional vaccine stores were established at Mandi and Dharamshala. CM said that District Vaccine Stores had also been set up in all the districts of the State.
